Portrait of a Beijinger《北京人的肖像》is a four-part series I co-created with Spanish cinematographer Abel Blanco, profiling a different and unusual character from the streets of Beijing. Each instalment has a written and photographic essay, as well as mini documentary. My role throughout this project was to source and interview subjects, write the essays, and translate/subtitle the videos.
The series appeared at The Antill, Neocha and The Los Angeles Review of Books.
